Jo-Go Bars were originally developed as a healthy snack for my Penne Lane meal clients. They make a great snack, providing protein, fiber and heart healthy nutrients. I use Organic Brown Rice Syrup, as it is a low glycemic alternative to refined sugar. They are long lasting, "stick with you" bars, giving you the energy you need without the blood sugar "spike and crash" of most bars on the market. All of them are full of heart healthy oats and nuts, contain no wheat, soy, corn or dairy. There is no added fat, lots of Omega 3's and they are very low in sodium. They make a great breakfast too!
